How to Anonymize Your Data

If you encounter an error in eVSM, you may need to send your map file to eVSM support in order to find and fix the problem.  If your file contains sensitive data, you can easily strip out the process box text and data values using a macro in eVSM.  To use this macro, follow these steps:

1. Save a backup copy of your file. This process is not reversible and will wipe out the data you've input.
2. in eVSM, hold down the ctrl key and press F8
3. Change the selection in the 'Change in' dropdown to 'eVSMIcons.vss'
4. Select the 'eVSMIcons.eVSMDeveloper.AnonymizeDocument' item from the list
