Licenses on current maintenance can be update to the latest v11 release at no cost. You can check your license maintenance status at https://evsm.com/my-evsm or by sending your product key to support@evsm.com. If a license expired maintenance in the last 12 months, it is eligible for an upgrade discount at https://evsm.com/products/kits/evsm-standard-latest-version-upgrade. If you are unsure, please check with support@evsm.com.
Once you are sure your license is eligible for the free upgrade, you can follow these steps:
- Check Sysreqs for v11
- Release your eVSM license for the old version making a note of your product key.
- Install latest v11 from https://evsm.com/v11/install
- Start eVSM and enter your product key when prompted
Working with maps created in older versions of eVSM.
Depending on the version your files were created in, you may need to migrate the your maps to v11. When you open the old file in v11, you will see a migration message if the file requires migration.
