4.  I own a v1.x or v2.x license. How can I buy the v3.x upgrade at the reduced upgrade price?

Registered v1.x and v2.x users can purchase v3.x at a discount price of $199.

5.  Do I need to un-install the previous release before I install this upgrade?

If you are upgrading from an older release to v3.x, you must un-install the old version using Add/Remove Programs.

6.  Will I need a new activation code when I install this upgrade?
If upgrading from v1.x or v2.x, then new activation details will be necessary.
7.  Can I work with drawings created in earlier releases?

Drawings and associated spreadsheets created in V2.x or later version will automatically migrate to V3. Drawings created in V1.x will also migrate but their associated spreadsheets must be recreated. Drawings created in v3.x will not work with older versions of eVSM.

8.  Can I work on an eVSM v3.x file in eVSM v2.x?

No. eVSM v2.x will recognize the file as being created in a newer version and will not allow you to open it in eVSM v2.x. This is to avoid the file getting corrupted through editing in an older version of eVSM.

If you need to open an eVSM v3 file in eVSM v2 only for viewing/printing purposes, then you can do so by clicking the Disable Macros button when you see the following prompt at start up. Note that you will see this only if you have your macro security set to Medium or higher.
